Clitheroe Canoe Club is a not-for-profit family-oriented organisation, based at purpose-built facilities in Chatburn near Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
Our primary focus is to promote canoeing, kayaking and SUP to residents and visitors of the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas.

Clitheroe Canoe Club, nestled in the heart of Lancashire, is a welcoming, volunteer-led community that is passionate about paddlesports. At our private club lake — a safe, sheltered space — we provide expert coaching in kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), making it the perfect place to build confidence before venturing further afield.

Instructors & Coaches at Clitheroe Canoe Club are accredited by Paddle UK and they go to great lengths to ensure all who participate have an enjoyable and safe experience.
Leaders & Coaches
To facilitate trips outside of the sheltered waters of the club lake, we have Paddle UK certified Coaches & Leaders.
First Aid
Most of our instructors and coaches hold First Aid qualifications with dedicated training in paddlesports.
Paddlesport Instructors
All paddlesport instructors also hold Paddlesport Safety & Rescue certification.
